The Wiki Culture Crawl is a WikiConference North America tradition, held on the day before the conference proper, on Thursday November 9.
There will be a series of GLAM tours and edit-a-thons in the morning and the afternoon, to be followed by the opening night reception in the evening. More details and how to register for these events to come!
Tentative GLAM tours:
- 10am-1pm - Bata Shoe Museum (327 Bloor Street West, Toronto): 20 people
- 10am-5pm - Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) (100 Queens Park, Toronto): 40 people
- 11am-1pm - Morning edit-a-thon in museum library
- 3pm-5pm - Afternoon edit-a-thon in museum library
- 1pm-3pm - Lunch walking tour at Kensington Market (meetup location TBD)
- 3-5pm - Thomas Fisher Rare Book Library at University of Toronto (120 St George St, Toronto): 2 groups, maximum of 20 people per group
