White River State Park Walking Tour

Description

Explore the cultural and historical significance of White River State Park. Guides will share stories of the park's history, from the time of Indianapolis's settlement to the present day, tracing how the area evolved from a hub of transportation and industry to a center for recreation, culture, and entertainment.

This tour is offered by Indiana Landmarks in conjunction with the White River State Park Development Commission.

Address: 801 W Washington St, Indianapolis, IN

Docents meet the group at the White River State Park Visitor Center. Tours conclude near the starting location.

Participants should arrive at the starting location at least 5 minutes prior to the listed tour start time.
