What is WikiConference North America?

WikiConference North America (formerly WikiConference USA) is the annual conference of Wikimedia enthusiasts and volunteers in the United States, Canada and Mexico. The weekend features both academic and casual presentations on Wikimedia-related outreach activities, workshops to improve the skills of grassroots organizers, and discussions on the past, present, and future of the Wikimedia projects. The conference features tracks on community outreach, online activity, partnerships with institutions of knowledge, and technology.

The third annual WikiConference North America (formerly WikiConference USA) will be held in San Diego, California on October 7–10, 2016.

Submissions for conference workshops, seminars, tutorials, panels, and presentations will be open soon.
