Abstract
WikiConference India 2016 was an International event organized by Community of Wikimedians in India and was locally organized by Punjabi Wikimedians User Group. This was the biggest Wikimedia related event in India in the past 5 years. While a lot of things went good and according to the plan, there a number of issues that went wrong as well. I would like the pros and cons of organizing such a big event especially in context to the Code of Conduct and other logistics related issues that can easily be taken care of. This will help other communities to understand that organizing a conference can be much more easier than we anticipate, provided that we take some precautions.
