Title:

Ask Wiki Education

Theme:

Relationship Building & Support

Type of session:

Panel

Abstract:

In 2014, Wiki Education was a brand-new organization, and we ran a session at WikiConference USA in New York where we shared information about our organization, then opened the floor to questions from the broader community about our work. Five years later, a lot has changed, and we think it would be good to do it again!

In this session, Wiki Education Executive Director Frank Schulenburg, Chief Programs Officer & Deputy Director LiAnna Davis, and Chief Technology Officer Sage Ross will briefly talk about Wiki Education's current strategy, how we see ourselves fit into the Wikimedia movement in North America and more globally, and how our organization functions.

Then we'll open the floor to questions from the audience, for the bulk of the session. What burning questions do you have about Wiki Education? Do you have questions about how our programs work? Are you confused about which Dashboard you should use? Where do we get our funding? Do you want to know more about how to build an organization from scratch? Whatever your questions are, we're here to answer them. It's your opportunity to ask anything and everything of Wiki Education's senior leadership team.
