I'm an undergraduate senior taking a research seminar where I teach critical media studies to LAUSD high schoolers at a project-based school. I have lead student workshops on journalism on and off for about 10 years, working as an editor for my school papers since the 8th grade, and taking that work way too seriously. I'm also trained to teach English as a Foreign Language. I grew up on the internet, often ignoring traditional resources in favor of websites like Wikipedia or blogs written by academics and journalists. Despite my disdain for printed textbooks, I've done pretty well in school. I also work part-time in University Media Relations.
