What is WikiConference North America?
WikiConference North America (formerly WikiConference USA) is the annual conference of Wikimedia enthusiasts and volunteers in the United States, Canada and Mexico. The weekend features both academic and casual presentations on Wikimedia-related outreach activities, workshops to improve the skills of grassroots organizers, and discussions on the past, present, and future of the Wikimedia projects. The conference features tracks on community outreach, online activity, partnerships with institutions of knowledge, and technology.
WikiConference USA 2014
WikiConference began as WikiConference USA, held at the New York Law School from May 30 to June 1, 2014 and jointly organized by Wikimedia District of Columbia and Wikimedia New York City.
