Type of session:
Created in 2014, WikiJournal publishes a set of open-access, peer-reviewed academic journals with no publishing costs to authors. This bridges the gap between the academic community, whose works are often inaccessible to the general public, and Wikipedia, which may not have sufficient coverage on specialized topics and pages may not have been peer-reviewed by subject matter experts. Currently, WikiJournal is published in three areas: Medicine, Science and Humanities, with Psychology, Psychiatry and Behavioral Science to start in the near future. We will present how people can get involved and our direction striving towards becoming a sister project.
