Abstract:

In this day and age, Wikipedians face the risk of being identified and targeted for their identity or beliefs. This session will include an overview of risks and ways to mitigate them, as well as the limitations of these mitigation strategies. It’ll also include an overview of Consumer Reports’ Security Planner, a free resource that provides customized recommendations to help people protect their sensitive personal data and stay safer online.
