Abstract:
A meetup for Wikimedians below the age of 28, to discuss the development of and issues specific to youth participation in the Wikimedia movement. There are many young Wikimedians in North America, but up until now, unlike in other regions like CEE, there have been few or no formal efforts to encourage youth participation in North America. During this meetup, we can discuss strategies to address this, particularly as it relates to the emerging North America Hub.
