I am Richard Naples, Technical Information Specialist in the Metadata and Analytics Department of the Digital Projects and Initiatives Division of the Smithsonian Libraries and Archives.

I am currently involved in developing a Wikibase for Smithsonian identity management, and am working on a few projects getting SLA data into Wikidata. Find me there!

I also work on Smithsonian Research Online, a suite of services that tracks the research output of the Smithsonian Institution, where I focus on analytics and bibliometrics, managing data, and conducting audits to ensure the integrity of the system. I also develop and deploy Tableau dashboards for assessing SLA programs and processes.
