سلام, I work for the [[m:Strategy/Wikimedia_movement/2018-20/People|Core Team]] of Movement Strategy, and excited to be attending my first WikiCon North America event. Originally from Iran and based in Toronto, I have been a social development practitioner for more than 7 years, working with young and mobile volunteer movements and the international response to HIV, in public and private sectors, with NGOs, diverse community-based organizations, and the UN. My experiences have had me based in Southeast Asia working across Asia and the Pacific, in Central Asia and in Europe. Before supporting the Wikimedia movement, I was working with UNESCO in Afghanistan on education reform, curriculum design, life skills development, and digital literacy.
