I am Pete Forsyth. I have been a Wikipedian and Wikimedian since 2006 (and using wikis since about 2003). Wikimedia is both a personal passion, and central to my professional career. Here are a few items that connect to WikiConference North America:
- Fighting Fake News with Real Information: Newspapers on Wikipedia. Presented at WikiConference North America 2019.
- News on Wiki (NOW). I'm running this campaign to increase wiki coverage of news outlets with Shanluan, as part of the WikiCred grant program, as of mid-2020.
- "Trusting Everybody to Work Together." Essay on lessons from Wikipedia's first 20 years, written for Wikipedia at 20, a forthcoming book edited by Joseph Reagle and Jackie Koerner.
