Final report on the conference
This is the basic report on the conference which we will adapt to make a final report to the WMF and the public on the grant to fund the conference.
WikiConference North America was held on Thursday-Sunday, November 9-12, 2023.
WikiConference North America (WCNA) is the annual conference for Wikimedians in North America, including Canada, the United States, Mexico and the Caribbean. WCNA 2023 was the 10th conference, and the first in-person event since the COVID pandemic started.
The conference organizers had been hoping to hold the event in Toronto for some years. This year the pieces came together.
Wikimedia Canada was the main host and the fiscal sponsor.
