Abstract

A collective panel with Wikimedians in Residence coming to the conference, with some presentation but also conversation among panelists. A focus on the diversity of roles, expectations and areas of focus related to the host institution and the Wikimedia community. Important tools and the intersection of tech with our work. The Wikimedians in Residence Exchange Network as a developing usergroup and the formation of a community of practice. How residencies should be developed by a newly interested institution, and how they can be maintained.
