Title:
- Birds of a Feather Art+Feminism
Theme:
- Relationship Building & Support
+ Inclusion and Diversity
+ Editor Recruitment & Retention
Type of session:
- Other
Abstract:
As we approach our 7th(!) annual campaign, Art+Feminism is proposing a Birds of a Feather meetup that will bring together organizers from around the country to meet each other in person, often for the first time.
This will provide an opportunity to build new friendships and partnerships among the existing Art+Feminism community, and an opportunity for the larger Wikimedia community to learn more about participating in the campaign. We held a similar event a few years ago at Wikicon USA in Washington DC, and at Wikimania in Montreal. Both were very productive community health and organizing efforts.
