Abstract:
Wikidata is one of the most active Wikimedia projects, and growing both with the other Wikimedia projects and independently of them.
In this session, we would like to zoom in on what is known or could be extrapolated about the limits of Wikidata both today and about a decade into the future.
The session will be hands-on, building on documentation started by WikiProject Limits of Wikidata. It will cover aspects such as design, content, infrastructure and communities within and around Wikidata, with special attention to areas that are very prominent already (e.g. WikiCite), have the potential to become very prominent (e.g. lexemes and forms) or that are not very prominent yet (e.g. oral citations or underserved languages).
