WikiConference North America 2019 Photo Drive

As part of WikiConference North America 2019, we are hosting a Photo Drive to take photos throughout Boston and Cambridge. This large gathering of Wikimedians presents a great opportunity to help photograph and cover the region on the Wikimedia Commons, Wikipedia, and Wikidata.

Event details

Anyone is welcome to participate! The goal of this event is to catalogue everyone's photographic contributions of Cambridge and Boston at WikiConference North America. We want to see your experiences!

Suggestions on what to photograph throughout the day:

  • Landmarks
  • Parks
  • Skylines
  • Museums and interiors
  • Universities

Do be mindful of copyright laws regarding artworks. Refer to Canada's freedom of panorama laws when photographing 3D public artwork; you may photograph buildings, as well as "a sculpture or work of artistic craftsmanship or a cast or model of a sculpture or work of artistic craftsmanship, that is permanently situated in a public place or building".
