What is your idea?

My ideia is create a type of research that finds only in audio/sound. The person will fin any kind of music, poetry (in audio) that talk about the topic which the person is searching for. The objective is create a big library for people research many kind of musics that talk about feminism, for example. Or a (audio) poetry with all the rights reserved, which this cannot be downloaded. My idea is create more new and different access for audio/sound researches.

Why is it important?

This is important to expand the culture in many levels and different languages; to integrate the sound in our lives, and not only our eyes as a tools to connect; to over with the massive image culture now a days; to listen musics from different languages and countries; to listen more poetry too.

Is your project already in progress?

No, this is totally new. I'm thinking about this since I was a child.

How is it relevant to credibility and Wikipedia? (max 500 words)

This is an important view to create more sensibility with our ears and, the same time, to create more connection with sounds from other cultures and also, access poetry with more frequency.

What is the ultimate impact of this project?

The impact will be globally, connecting more with the culture of music and poetry around the world.

not now.

Why are you the people to do it?

Because I'm a Producer, Artist and researcher since always. And I always tried to understand how I want to connect the people and the cultures in an easy way, using the internet for that and using the idea of multissensorial possibilities.

What is the impact of your idea on diversity and inclusiveness of the Wikimedia movement?

The impact will be totally connect with the idea of integrate culture, different people with their different physicality and open for connect with our ways to be more sensible people using our different sensorial ways to feel and receive, using exclusively the sound/audio as a reference, and not only images as a reference, like is now a days in a over way.

What are the challenges associated with this project and how you will overcome them?

The challenges will be always connect with protection the artists (musicians, authors, poets) and their rights.

How much money are you requesting?

For the first step, I'm looking for $10.000,00.

How will you spend the money?

For this grant, I will invite cultural researcher around Brazil and some specifics countries from Asia and Africa to develop this.

2 year.

Have you worked on projects for previous grants before?

Yes, grants for develop cultural projects in Brazil with different artists: literature, dance, theatre and others for determined events.
