Hi, I was just wondering who is eligible to go to the WikiConference / if anyone is eligible to attend as long as they make it to the Venue on the Day of? Also, how many full and/or partial scholarships do you predict will be awarded?

Anyone who is in good standing (i.e. not banned by WMF or prohibited from attending WMF events) may attend. You are welcome to register and attend even if you are not primarily based in North America. For scholarships, it is limited to anyone who lives in North America to apply. North America is broadly defined as Canada, USA, Mexico, all Caribbean countries and all Central America (as south as Panama, inclusively). We are expected to award 80 scholarships in total. Since this year's total isn't finalized until May 31, we are unable to announce the full vs. partial scholarship split. For last year's event in Toronto, we awarded 9 partial scholarships (7 to cover travel costs, 2 to cover hotel costs) and 70 full scholarships. OhanaUnited (talk) 20:46, 19 May 2024 (UTC)

Event registration open, but page says coming soon still

It looks like someone forgot to update this page when registration at https://pretix.eu/wcna/2024/ opened. --BDavis (WMF) (talk) 15:27, 19 August 2024 (UTC)
