Deadlines
Scholarships will be reviewed in batches. Please apply as early as possible to increase your chance of securing a scholarship.
- Early scholarship deadline (Batch 1): July 31
- Final scholarship deadline (Batch 2): August 31
Eligibilité
Vous devez vivre en Amérique du Nord pour être éligible aux bourses.
Types de bourses
Nous proposons deux types de bourses :
- Bourse complète (hébergement et frais de voyage)
- Bourse partielle (hébergement ou frais de voyage)
You may also select "I am applying for a full scholarship, but would be able to attend if awarded a partial scholarship."
Evaluation process
You will be asked a number of questions on your contributions to the Wikimedia movement from which your application will be assessed by the scholarship committee.
Scholarship applicants will be notified of their outcome after the scholarship committee evaluates their application. For those that have been successful, we will then be in further contact about booking accommodation and travel arrangement.
Les frais d'inscription et les repas sont inclus pour tous les boursiers. Nous ne couvrons pas les frais de visa ni les frais de transport local entre le lieu de résidence/l'hôtel et l'aéroport, la gare ferroviaire et la gare routière (ou vice versa).
Afin d'accueillir le plus grand nombre de boursiers possible, les boursiers doivent partager une chambre à deux lits avec un autre boursier. Des exceptions seront faites au cas par cas.
