Abstract:

Since 2018, I've been running a NewsDiffs fork (http://newsdiff.devlabmexico.org/) for monitoring four mayor news outlets in Mexico. I've found several practices of editing that go unnoticed by the audiences but affect the content. While the main analysis is still pending, I'd like to share some of my findings and invite the people to use this tool in their own contexts.
