Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport Shuttle on an eastbound lane of Front Street outside Citigroup Place.

My trip to Toronto is almost done and having enjoyed myself thoroughly in the city for four whole days, I now feel sheepish as to why I had initially been intimidated by the city in the first place. But I could not leave the city without taking a picture of the 'classic Toronto skyline'. For that, I had to take a ferry to Ward's Island. More on that later,but this is one of the buses that runs to the Billy Bishop Toronto City airport that lies at the extreme end of Ward's Island. These airport shuttle buses run through an underwater tunnel under Lake Ontario but I don't think they's appreciate tourists hopping on! The easier and more enjoyable way to get to Ward's Island is by ferry. More on that later. At any rate, Billy Bishop airport is some 5 or 6km at the fag end of the island so with the island being mostly vehicle free barring a handful, getting back to the ferry terminal would have meant a good 6-7km long trek.
