My work
I have been involved in professional GLAM-Wiki and outreach work for over a decade.
I currently serve as the Director of Community Engagement for the Digital Public Library of America, since October 2023, where I manage the DPLA network of over 5,000 U.S. institutions as well as DPLA's Wikimedia program. I started work at DPLA as a Data Fellow in 2019, where I built the digital asset pipeline to Wikimedia Commons that powers DPLA bot, which has uploaded almost 4 million images from hundreds of institutions. I also currently consult for Indiana University Indianapolis on the Central Indiana Wikipedia Partnership project. I was previously a Wikipedian in Residence/Digital Content Specialist at the US National Archives and Records Administration from 2011–2019, and also served for a short time as a Wikipedian in Residence at the Smithsonian Institution.
