La WikiConférence Amérique du Nord 2024 sera le onzième rassemblement annuel des Wikimédiens, des institutions et des professionnels de toute l'Amérique du Nord, y compris le Canada, les États-Unis, le Mexique, les Caraïbes et l'Amérique centrale. Notre thème sera "Carrefours", inspiré par la devise de l'État de l'Indiana et faisant également allusion aux multiples significations du mot - comme l'endroit où les Wikimédiens de tout le continent se croisent, mais aussi un moment-clé pour les participants.
The event will be held at Indiana University Indianapolis in Indianapolis, Indiana, from October 4–6, 2024.
On Thursday, October 3, we plan a Wiki Culture Crawl during the day, and the opening night cocktail reception.

History
WikiConference North America User Group was formed in 2016 after that year's conference. It is a recognized Affiliate by the Wikimedia Foundation. The purpose of the User Group is to assure that the experiences gained at one conference are shared with future year conference organizers. The mission of the User Group includes coordinating the planning and hosting of events under our purview.
Additionally, the User Group documents best practices and shares lessons learned with other Wikimedia communities planning and hosting conferences and similar events. In 2020, 2021 and 2022 WikiConference North America were online. We returned in person in 2023.
