Title:

How can Africa and North America partner to promote the goals of the Foundation

Theme:

Recent Changes, Community Initiatives, Governance, Legal / Advocacy / Risks

Type of session:

Panel

Abstract:

I was a member of the English Wikipedia Arbitration Committee for 11 years, and have background on the Committee's work and some thoughts on its role in project governance. I do not propose to give a talk of my own about ArbCom or governance (I have made a proposal for a talk on a different topic), but if there is a panel or discussion about these issues I would be glad to participate as one of the panelists.
